Teledermatology is one of the most popular applications of telemedicine.

The global prevalence of skin disorders is 27.21% and in India it is 24.46%.

Evidence suggests that Teledermatology can be used in primary care for triage, improving access and reducing time to treat the most severe or surgical cases.

To conduct a descriptive study of teledermatology consultations done by Family Practitioners on MediBuddy in order to elicit the demographic, therapeutic and epidemiological trends and findings.

All teledermatology consultations which happened on our platform during the month of April 2022 were included.

The data were checked for duplicates, cleaned and descriptive statistics were computed.

Diagnosis was coded using ICD-11.

Drugs were coded using ATC and were grouped for analysis according to their ATC classes.

Teledermatology has opened up a wide range of opportunities and possibilities in managing skin disorders and the awareness and understanding of their diagnosis and treatment can be used to train general practitioners and increase the uptake of teledermatology among primary care practitioners.
